- What is the economic status of the companies listed below? They all seem
- to have had a significant impact (hardware & software) in the
- microcomputer industry of the early-1980's:
-
- HesWare - Put out a lot of really good games, ones like Shamus and Shamus
- Case II. Made a considerable amount of Commodore Vic-20 and C-64 software.
-
- Epyx - Lots of great games, too numerous to mention. Even put out an
- ergonomic joystick (J500?).
-
- Activision - After making games for the Atari 2600 (or perhaps at the
- same time), moved on to other platforms such as the Commodore 64. Games
- were particularly good, and the graphics were outstanding.
-
- Br0derbound - (sp?) Before moving on to other platforms, put out
- outstanding games the likes we have not seen in quite some time (Raid on
- Bungling Bay,Spelunker,Load Runner,etc).
-
- Any ideas?
-
